This is a useful python script for downloading google images in bulk

https://github.com/atif93/google_image_downloader

This is a python script that uses selenium with the firefox web browser and geckodriver.

The script can be downloaded from github

Ope cmd, navigate to the folder you have stored your script in (you can paste by right clicking in cmd) and type in: python image_download.py <searchterm> <numberofsearches>

I encountered the error message: geckodriver executable needs to be in path

This turned out to be an easy fix. I had to update the environment variables (System Variables) Path with the exact location of the geckodriver exe.
I saved the latest geckdriver.exe into C:\Python27 and then added that full path into environment variables.

This link helped me: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/40208051/selenium-using-python-geckodriver-executable-needs-to-be-in-path

and this link is helpful too: https://www.howtogeek.com/118594/how-to-edit-your-system-path-for-easy-command-line-access/amp/

I also added the firefox.exe path to the environment variables path too.

Scraping google images quickly will likely get your IP banned temporarily by Google. Remember the image Copyright is owned by the respective websites.
